Come and sit in our sukkah and enjoy a fun-filled morning for the whole mishbucha! We will shake Lulav & Etrogs, nosh a geshmak (eat delicious foods), have games for the kiddos, and enjoy being together as a community - so many mitzvahs! We can’t wait to see you there!

• Order a Luluv & Etrog

  • What are the four kinds? A palm branch (lulav), two willows (aravot), a minimum of three myrtles (hadassim) and one citron (etrog).

  • Jewish unity is one of the central themes of Sukkot. The four kinds you are holding symbolize four types of Jews, with differing levels of Torah knowledge and observance. Bringing them together represents our unity as a nation—despite our external differences. So in this spirit of unity, be sure to share your arba minim with your Jewish friends and neighbors!

• About Sukkot

  The holiday of Sukkot commemorates the miraculousprotection of the “clouds of glory” during the forty years our ancestorstraversed the Sinai Desert. Ever since, we rememberG‑d’s kindness and reaffirm our trust in His providence by dwelling in a sukkah–a hut of temporaryconstruction with a roofcovering of branches–for the duration of the Sukkot festival. 

  During Sukkot, we also take the Four Kinds: an etrog (citron), lulav (palm frond), hadassim (myrtle), and aravot (willow). Each day (except Shabbat), we bless and wave them in all directions, symbolizing the unity of the Jewish people.

  The seasonends with SheminiAtzeret and SimchatTorah, marked by joyfulHakafot and the completion of the Torahreadingcycle. Join us for the festivities!
