Passover

April 22 – 29, 2024

The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated in the early spring, from the 15th through the 22nd of the Hebrew month of Nissan. It commemorates the Exodus of the Jewish People from slavery in ancient Egypt. By following the rituals of Passover, we have the ability to relive and experience the true freedom that our ancestors gained.

Sell Your Chametz

Chabad Intown provides a service to sell the Chametz on your behalf.

The Torah prohibits possession and ownership of any leavened products. Accordingly, the Rabbis instituted the ability to sell the Chametz to a non-Jew during the festival to ensure fulfilment of this biblical commandment. Sell your chametz here.

Feast of Mosiach

Tuesday, April 30, 2024 | 7:30 pm

On the last day of Passover, the focus is on the future liberation, and the haftorah is a prophecy of that era. To celebrate, the Baal Shem Tov initiated the Feast of Moshiach, a festive meal. Today, in the Chabad and Jewish world, the tradition is to end the holiday with a feast, including matzah and four cups of wine, songs, and inspiration to bring the energy of Pesach into the following days and turn the hope for Moshiach into reality.
